Smart TV setup without buying anything new
Most TVs sold in recent years support an IPTV player. Here's how to check if yours does, and what to do if it can't.

The first thing people ask us is almost never about channels — it's "will this run on my TV?" Usually the answer is yes, and no additional equipment is necessary. Three factors determine it: the operating system your TV uses, its age, and whether your region's app store still stocks an IPTV player.
Find out what your television runs
Samsung TVs use Tizen, LG TVs use webOS, and Sony, Philips, TCL and Hisense generally operate on Android TV or Google TV. Android TV is the easiest option: the Play Store includes several IPTV players and setup mirrors that of a smartphone. Tizen and webOS are more restrictive — they offer a smaller catalog, and older versions sometimes can't install new applications at all.
A simple test: open your app store and search by player name. If it pops up, you're good to go. If it doesn't, check under "all apps" or the updates tab before deciding it's not there — TV app store search is notoriously literal.
The setup itself takes four steps

When the app simply is not there
On a TV older than around 2018, the store may no longer support new apps. This is a hardware constraint, not a subscription problem. The remedy is an affordable external player: a Fire TV Stick or compact Android box transforms any HDMI television into a modern streaming unit, and the same subscription operates on it without modification.

Three habits worth adopting
Use ethernet wherever cable is accessible. Reboot the player instead of the entire television when a channel freezes. And store your login credentials in a note on your phone — you'll need them the next time you swap devices.
